Privacy Policy

On this page I've laid out, as plainly as I can, what data is collected when you use the site, why it's needed and how you can control it. If you'd rather skip the long legal phrases, the gist is one line: your files and your personal things stay with you.

1. What data is collected

1.1. Things processed in your browser

Most of the tools on the site run directly in your browser. The following is never sent to a server:

• Your PDF, image, video and audio files
• Numbers and text entered into calculators and forms
• Generated passwords
• Your to-do list and money-management records

1.2. Settings kept in your browser (localStorage)

To make things more convenient, a few things are stored only on your device and are not sent to me:

• The display mode you chose (light or dark theme)
• The language you chose (Latin or Cyrillic)
• To-do list and money-management records
• The API key you entered for the AI tool, if you use it
• The temporary email address, if you use it

You can delete these at any time through your browser settings → «Clear site data».

1.3. Anonymous statistics collected automatically

As on any website, during your visit the following anonymous data is gathered through Google Analytics and server logs:

• IP address (anonymized, the last three digits cut off)
• Browser type and version
• Device type (phone or computer)
• Which pages you visited and how long you stayed
• Where you came to the site from (Google, a social network and so on)
• Region, only at the country level

These numbers aren't there to identify you personally; they're for understanding which tool is needed most and where the site is slowing down.

2. Third-party services

For usage statistics the site uses Google Analytics 4. It shows me which services are needed most, where users come from and how fast the site runs. IP addresses are anonymized. More detail: Google Privacy Policy.

Beyond that, the following services only start up when you open specific tools:

• Google Gemini API, in the AI image quality tool. If you use it, your image and API key go to Google. The key itself stays only in your browser.
• mail.tm, in the temporary email tool. Messages pass through this free service.
• i.ytimg.com, the thumbnail tool pulls images from YouTube's image CDN.
• cdn.jsdelivr.net, unpkg.com, for loading some JavaScript libraries.

3. Cookies and similar things

I've written about cookies in more detail on the separate Cookie Policy page. In short, there are two kinds: the necessary settings that keep the site working (theme, language) and Google Analytics' anonymous analytics cookies.

4. What you can control yourself

• Cookies, you can delete or limit them through your browser settings.
• localStorage, you can clear everything the site has stored through browser → «Clear site data».
• Opting out of Analytics, through Google's official Opt-out extension.
• A request, if you want to know about any data I've collected, just write to me and I'll tell you.

5. Children

The site does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If your child has used the site and you think something has been collected, write to me and we'll check and delete it.

6. Security

The site runs over HTTPS (SSL), meaning the connection between your browser and the site is encrypted. Even so, no one can guarantee data transfer over the internet a hundred percent, and it's better to say so honestly.

7. Changes

This policy is updated from time to time. If there's a significant change, I'll announce it through the site. The last updated date is shown above.
